Cookies and statistics

Anonymous counts by default, identification only with your permission.

Necessary cookies

The website uses cookies to maintain your session, protect forms and remember your preferences. The cookie aeicf_analytics remembers your choice for six months; it does not contain a personal identifier.

Anonymous counts

By default, we count page views and general actions, such as completed requests. The website removes IP addresses, browser information, location, identifiers and link parameters before adding the counts to the statistics system. All visits contribute to a single anonymous dataset, with dates grouped by day. We cannot use these data to distinguish visitors, link them to accounts or reconstruct individual browsing paths. No visitor identifier is stored in the browser for this measurement.

Linked statistics, only if you accept them

With your permission, we collect pages and events, general UTM campaign tags, referral source, browser, device and approximate location. When you are signed in, a stable pseudonymous code allows us to link visits across devices and distinguish between subscriber, member and student categories. A pseudonymous code does not make these data anonymous.

If you confirm a subscription without signing in and accept this option on that page, the signed cookie aeicf_audience allows that subscription to be recognised for up to six months. It does not grant access to your account. We do not identify anyone simply because they enter their email address in a form, nor do we add personal tracking to newsletter links.

AEICF manages its own statistics system. We do not send names, email addresses, DNI, documents, passwords, form or classroom content, or order identifiers. Private links and their codes are excluded or replaced with general paths. There are no session recordings, heatmaps or third-party advertising.

When linked statistics are permitted, the browser remembers conversions already counted to reduce duplicates. This information and the subscription cookie are deleted when you withdraw permission. Data received are retained for a maximum of 25 months; operational copies are retained for 14 days. Withdrawing permission stops new data from being sent, without retroactively deleting previous data.

Change your choice

You can keep only anonymous counts or disable all analytics. Neither option limits the website's functionality. We respect your browser's DNT and Global Privacy Control signals and exclude browsing in administration areas, private accounts and the classroom. Technical logs required for service security are separate from these statistics.

Change preferences

Counts are limited by opt-outs, blockers and which visits can be measured. They do not replace enrolment and payment records.
