Learn with the support of your instructors
Learning is also built through dialogue. Our courses include tutorials with instructors: a space to ask questions, compare procedures and review practical work live. This support helps you understand mistakes, consolidate your knowledge and progress with specific guidance on your work.
A scientific approach and practical application go hand in hand. We start with the fundamentals of each technique to understand what information an image provides, how to obtain it and what conclusions we can support. Data quality, process documentation and the limitations of methods are all part of this critical approach.
Course content and materials are integrated with practical work and contact with instructors. Consult each course outline to learn about its activities, duration, format and tutorial arrangements, and choose the training that best fits your goals.

Behind AEICF's training programmes is a community of members with extensive experience as professionals and educators. Their experience connects scientific principles with the decisions, procedures and challenges encountered in professional practice.
This combination of technical and teaching experience informs the learning process: explaining concepts clearly, guiding problem-solving and providing useful feedback on practical exercises. Tutorials connect learners with people who know the subject through its application and can guide them through the learning process.

Forensic image analysis
Forensic image analysis can be defined as the science concerned with the scientific and technical skills used to analyse and investigate photographic evidence, interpreting and determining its origin and authorship, the relationship between an image and the camera used to take it, and the authenticity of the image itself, whether it has been manipulated and, consequently, its evidentiary value.
